This is, hands down the nicest guitar I have played in the 30 years I've been a guitarist! First off the look of it, the two piece flame maple top is so beautiful. You can find yourself falling in to a trance if you look at it too long...
I was not ready for the sounds this guitar makes. The Okoume body produces a very warm, tight, responsive, modern tone. Coupled, of course with the Abasi Fishman pickups I can play a wide variety of styles with this instrument. As for the feel of it, the neck profile is very comfortable. It is not super slim nor too chunky. I can reach the upper frets with my whole hand without forcing any movements thanks to the graceful cut away where the neck joins the body. The roasted maple neck is both beautiful and comfortable and my fingers move effortlessly across the ebony fingerboard.
