This ēmi is basically the sibling to the Larada. It retains the elegant and ergonomic form of the single cut variant, while offering a more aggressive shape for those who prefer double cut-away body styles. Featuring a slightly asymmetrical, subtle teardrop shaped neck profile, and reverse headstock, the 'ēmi 7' is the answer for the players who prefer a uniform scale length and floating tremolo to the individual saddles of the Larada. We even threw in a tone knob!
This ēmi 7 Master Series comes with an okoume body, paired with a roasted, figured maple neck and ebony fingerboard. Each piece of wood is hand-selected, with great attention paid to quality, weight, and overall resonance of the instrument.
Eachēmi 7 Master Series Larada comes equipped with Tosin Abasi’s signature Fishman Fluence pickups, Hipshot Tuners, and D’Addario NYXL strings.

I’ve owned pretty much every top tier 7 string on the market (not saying it to brag but I love to try new guitars so I can compare this to a lot of great instruments) and I have to say this has blown my mind. 🤯
When I went to NAMM 2022, I caught a glimpse of the orange Emi 7 and I fell in love. As much as I love mulitscale and baritone 7s, I have always had a fondness towards a 25.5” straight scale seven string. It also MUST have a trem.
This is a tone MONSTER and work of art. The neck carve varies slightly depending where you are on the neck and it’s so freaking comfy. The body contours to your own and is super lightweight. To top it all off the wood selection and figuring on the neck is outstanding. The guitar resonates very nicely and the satin/gloss mixed finish is actually pretty cool. I chose the yellow because I like loud guitars and I’m not disappointed. The double cutaway design is flawless and allows us thumb draggers to wrap the neck.
I could take or leave the Fishman pickups, imho they lack “oomph” when plugged into the Quad Cortex but I also haven’t been able to find time to dial new presets in either so it could be that I need to tweak my settings more. On the other hand they sound freaking MASSIVE through my Diezel Herbert, and I mean face melting!!!
Tosin and the guys knocked this design out of the park and definitely have a lifetime customer from me!
