ĒMI 6 // MASTER SERIES // LATTE (Korina Neck)

ēmi ™ is basically the sibling to the Larada. It retains the elegant and ergonomic form of the single cut variant, while offering a more aggressive shape for those who prefer double cut-away body styles. The design is highlighted by the asymmetrical, subtle teardrop-shaped OVIFORM + - ™ neck profile.

The ēmi line features a range of Fishman Fluence pickup configurations, including an S-S-S configuration on the brand new ēmi6, which is a first for Abasi Concepts. We even threw in a tone knob! While ABASI extended range instruments typically feature a multi-scale design with individual string bridges, the 'ēmi 6' and 'ēmi 7' are the answer for the players who prefer a uniform scale length and Gotoh 510 floating tremolo.

This particular ēmi Master Series collection is unique in that is sports light-weight Korina bodies and necks, paired with a roasted figured maple or ebony fingerboards. As always, each piece of wood is hand-selected, with great attention paid to quality, weight, and overall resonance of the instrument.

Ēmi 6: Comfort, Quality, Tone… and amazing customer service!

From the moment I unboxed the Ēmi 6, it was clear that this was not your average guitar. It's a thing of beauty, especially with the Latte finish and through neck, but what really sets it apart is how it feels in your hands.

This guitar is a 6-string, a departure from the 7 or 8-string models typically seen from Abasi Concepts. It's reminiscent of the familiar Strat sound, but with a unique touch that makes it stand out.

Despite its slim neck, it's remarkably comfortable to play, even for someone with very large hands like me. It's almost as if it was custom-made for my grip, which made playing feel so natural and smooth.

I have to give credit to Marshall and Ivan from Abasi Concepts. Despite some shipping damage issues with UPS with the first guitar they sent (In black) but they were quick to resolve the problem. A new replacement... hand built and perfectly set up arrived at my door, ready to be played right out of the box!

In terms of value, the Ēmi 6 is absolutely worth the price. Beyond the sound and appearance, it's the overall playing experience that truly makes this guitar a joy. If you're considering it, I'd say go for it. You won't regret the decision, that's for sure. But warning… best be ready to jump when the next batch drops… they go fast!

Abasi Emi 6

Holy cow, this is my second Emi, but now in a 6 string. Abasi has nailed the design, fit and feel with the Emi model. Everything is just fast and smooth. I was iffy about the sss config but these Fishman Single Coils do it all. I have nothing at all to say about this guitar that could be a con. The woods are beautiful, the finish is beautiful, and the pickups are phenomenal. I’m in love with this guitar and I’m a 7 string guy. The Emi 6 brought back my love for 6 strings and introduced a pickup config I love that I have always stayed away from.
