    I mostly a strat-style player, but I wanted to branch out and do some heavier stuff without getting into crazy alternative tuning. Tosin's description of voicing the pickups specifically for split coil sounds caught me, and I love the body shape. Picking up the guitar a couple of times now, I'm struck by how just how comfortable it is to play, despite the wide neck to accommodate the 7 stings. I have to say, it while it doesn't play nice with my fuzz pedal, it's got a much wider range on the volume pot than either my strat or tele knock offs. I'll also give Fishman credit, the split coils sounds (ignoring the fuzz pedal weirdness) are on point. The only reasons this doesn't get a full 5 stars is the fuzz pedal interaction and my own discomfort with 7 strings and having to relearn how to mute unused strings properly. Excellent guitar.
