The Postmodern Telecaster Reinvented

Not many brands can pull off reinventing such a sacred classic but Abasi Concepts nailed it with the vintage things like the two tone Gotoh ashtray bridge which has perfect intonation. Aside from the striking aesthetic of this guitar that balances traditional and modern design the playability, feel and personality exceeded any expectations. The neck had a fat U shaped reminiscent of a 54 Stratocaster with modern additions such as the locking tuners and richlite fingerboard which is very low maintenance and the guitar always stays in tune. After having this guitar for a few months, I don't touch my original Telecaster as it feels like a simulacrum to the Abasi Spacecaster. In fact, I sold them because I just was not playing them. The tipping point on this guitar has to be the Greg Koch pickups that are silent like the Fender American ultra pickups, but chimney and big like an EMG but with a gristle tone. The ease of plugging in the batter to charge is an added bonus. This has become my number one studio guitar as it does everything I need it to do. Not only can this guitar stand on its own in the studio, it's very inspirational to play as this guitar has taken me on a new creative journey. Well done on this one!
