Well worth the wait

1500 characters isn't enough to describe how much I love this guitar, but I'll try to keep this concise.

In my 13+ years of playing guitar, this is the most comfortable one I've played to date. I'm primarily a 6 string player (and had my doubts about 8 strings at first) but the transition from 6 to 8 has been painless. This is the 2nd 8 string I've owned but it blows the 1st one out of the water. If anything, this guitar has helped clean up the way I play. The Fishman Fluence Tosin signature set pickups are amazing, but honestly playing this guitar unplugged is also a joy.

The guitar itself is slim, the cutouts are perfect so the guitar sits nice and close to my body (I'm a heavier set guy), and it's light and balanced. This is the first guitar I've owned where I can play sitting down without a strap and still feel comfortable. So if you're after a comfortable guitar, this is it.

I cannot describe how much I love this guitar and what it means to me. I've wanted an Abasi guitar for a couple of years and this was well worth the wait. Before the Memorial Day release (which is when this guitar came out), I wrote down specs of an Abasi that I wanted; including the art design (I didn't want a solid color). This guitar came SO close to what I wrote down that I knew I had to get it.

All in all, if you're thinking about picking one up, I strongly recommend it. If you're primarily a 6 string player, do not worry about the extra strings. Just play it and you'll get used to it.
