ēmi ™ is essentially the sibling to the Larada. It retains the elegant, ergonomic form of the single cut variant while introducing a more assertive silhouette for players who prefer double cut-away body styles. The ēmi line features a variety of Fishman Fluence pickup configurations. While the ēmi 6 originally launched with an S-S-S setup, this release showcases the Tosin Abasi H-H Fluence set. We even added a tone knob!
While ABASI extended range instruments are typically built with a multi-scale design and individual string bridges, the ēmi 6 and ēmi 7 models are designed for players who prefer a uniform scale length paired with a Gotoh 510 floating tremolo. As always, each piece of wood is hand-selected, with close attention paid to quality, weight, and overall resonance.

Equipped with the Fishman Stage Pickup System, the Abasi Stage 7 combines piezo and body sensors to deliver a natural amplified tone with enhanced control in live environments.
Controls include:

• Body Blend - blends in body sensors for increased bass response and body tap sensitivity
The solid spruce top with premium flame maple veneer is paired with custom fan bracing and a bass bar to preserve articulation and dynamic response. A chambered mahogany body keeps the instrument lightweight and resonant while maintaining stability at high volumes.
The mahogany neck features a flat C-shape profile and compound-radius rosewood fingerboard, offering a fast, comfortable feel across the entire range. With 24 frets and a multiscale length of 27.5” on the bass side and 25.5” on the treble side, the Abasi Stage 7 supports modern technique, extended voicings, and expressive lead work.
